When structure
meets
creativity

When structure meets creativity, even ordinary ideas find an unexpected angle without losing sight of the plan. Organized, delivered, and spiced up by a colorful path.

How do I work

Great solutions start with the right questions. I follow a human-centered approach, understanding the users and their needs before designing anything. Because a solution only has purpose if it solves the right problem.

01

Discover

Digging into the problem before jumping to solutions. Lots of questions, a bit of stalking (the good kind: user research)

02

Define

Filtering signal from noise. Turning a pile of sticky notes into one clear, focused problem.

03

Develop

Brainstorms, crazy 8s, sketch it, test it, break it, fix it. Some ideas make it through, most don't (RIP to the rest)

04

Deliver

Where prototypes and mockups become real, working products people can click, use, and (hopefully) love. Time to celebrate!

In every project, I like to keep a “parking lot” somewhere in our collaboration tool, a space where any idea can be dropped the moment it comes up. Ideation needs to happen at the right time, not whenever inspiration strikes and derails the current focus. So we park it, protect the momentum of the project, and come back to it when it’s actually time to ideate.

Work

A selection of projects shaped through strategy, clarity and collaboration.

About

Alexia Berkowitsch outdoors in Stockholm

I grew up surrounded by antiques, old, dusty objects, each with a story I tried to understand.

For a long time, I felt like that curiosity to dig into the past and the why, my love for out-of-the-box thinking, and my real need for structure didn't belong together. I thought I had to choose between structure and creativity.

Then I traveled for years. Hospitality, farms, a Buddhist retreat, an art collection I ended up managing. Adapting fast and juggling all kinds of stakeholders along the way.

Discover

These experiences made me realize: being creative and loving structure isn't scattered at all. It's exactly what makes me good at my work.
